Growing a Greener Future Together

As a British business we look to offer as many British made products as possible. We support the local economy by using local independent professionals. Wherever possible we make our bespoke products locally in order to reduce waste, and minimise our impact on the environment.

We operate with a focus on environmental sustainability, recognising the need to minimise our environmental impact and cater to the increasing demand for sustainable products.

Responsibly Sourced

From big business decisions to the smallest everyday tasks, we continue to act positively and responsibly to minimise our ecological impact, without compromising our high quality standards.

We try to offer as many Responsibly sourced collections as possible, which are increasing all the time as manufacturers become more environmentally responsible.

Many of our fabrics are made using recycled yarns & fibres.

Although we source wallpapers and fabrics from all over the world, we actively promote sustainable products. Many of our products are also fully recyclable, allowing them to be repurposed for future use.

Recycled Content

Recycling offers more benefits when compared to producing virgin fibre products, reduced energy requirements and lower raw material consumption.  All recycled polyester fabrics are made from post-consumer fibres such as recycled PET (Polyethylene terephthalate or PET). Recycled PET is produced by making yarn from waste such as post-consumer plastic bottles, diverting them from landfill. Recycled cotton ranges are made from pre-consumer waste i.e. unwanted clothing which is collected, batched, and repurposed.

Today almost a quarter of the world’s cotton is produced under the Better Cotton Standard, and 2.2 million cotton farmers have been trained in sustainable farming practices and are licensed to grow Better Cotton.

Linen is made from the fibres of the stem of the flax plant which is predominantly grown in Europe. These fibres are long, stiff and irregular in shape. It is these irregular shaped yarns that give the fabric its slub appearance. Flax—the plant from which linen is made—is a naturally organic crop when farmed in its native region. The very nature of the flax itself, and the climate in which it is grown, mean that the plant is resistant to pests, requires very little fertilizer, and can thrive entirely without irrigation, allowing low impact farming.

Bamboo fabric is becoming increasingly popular, and is made with fibres from the bamboo plant. Fabrics have been made from bamboo for thousands of years, but it is only in contemporary times, that the process of making this hardy and fast-growing wood has been perfected into a softer than silk fabric. Bamboo is one of the most sustainable sources on the planet.
